I think Navy and Orange or Maroon and Gold will be popular. Anything with black and a bright color (like yellow).

If you’re looking for fashion-inspired colors, the official spring 2008 runway guide had a lot of matte primary colors and satiny jewel tones. for home decor colors, rich cool shades will work well with nearly any recently updated home; maybe a deep purple and a light sage green?

I have to say that I don’t think any of them are that great. The tone on tone ones, like beige and brown are okay, but the combos don’t seem as sophisticated as what we’ve been seeing in lots of other product areas. I agree with the other comment that something bolder would be great; or something even more subtle. Kick the colors further along both ends of the spectrum.

Deep, charcoal grey (almost black) and pale, dove grey.

Lilac and dark purple would be my suggestion.

I think there’s gotta be some red in there. I like red and brown together, or khaki and red.

Yellow and a light beige for Spring.

I think bronze and gold would be spectacular for a cat bed!

river rock grey and peat moss greeny-brown

I personally don’t care for any of the black-and-color combinations. I’m not sure why… they seem a little dated I suppose.
I’d love to see more modern combos, like pink and kelly green. I also like the suggestion for turquoise and dark brown. I think putting some white in the mix would be a great idea, too – white is a more modern neutral than black. White with anything would be fresh and beautiful.
The suggestion for jewel tones is great as well.

a bright red and a burgandy/maroon… would be sophisticated yet colorful and fun.

My top choice would be brick red and brown. Next would be purple and charcoal grey. Also good would be turquoise and brown

the current colors seem to lack depth. perhaps a more multi-tonal fabric, or subtly heathered, would be more interesting. jewel tones are definitely in fashion, but i can’t imagine decorating my house with them. much too bold.
i would like to see something slightly retro yet sophisticated. how about chocolate brown with grey lavender, or pale yellow with olive green?

A soft pink and a soft grey

Definitely Deep Plum Purple w / a Warm Grey Stone. Jewel tones and neutrals are sooooo sexy together.

Dark purple and dark green or an army/sage green with any other shade of purple would be fabulous.
Those colors are all over my home and I’d like to see options that blend in well.

I have always been very partial to deep purples and hunter greens. Or even burgandy and hunter green is a very nice combination.

I think some nice color combinations would be:
mint green(or some muted shade of green with brown
vanilla cream(off white/beige) with light/medium sky blue
Perhaps you could even do more than 2 colors and theme them around nature. So like river blue, grass green, dirt brown. Beach sand, blue sky, yellow sun. I love colors, so I have lots of ideas.

Deep Burgundy & Tan would be classy!

Grey and black, or brown and green.

I am very into fashion and home decor, and I think you should match up lime green and pastel purple. I have a shirt striped with those colors and it is a fabulous match. Another color combination that works great is orange and teal, and brown and teal.

Has anyone thought of maybe just having one color? Maybe even a subtle pattern or a heathered color.

I like the idea of variegated colors; much like
you see in yarns.
I’d vote for bright: yellow, red and orange
