I can't understand why people don't spay or neuter, especially in an area like NYC where the ASPCA travels with their mobile unit offering low-cost spay/neuter to help offset the cost. With MILLIONS of cats being senselessly killed in domestic "shelters" annually, anyone who for any other reason refuses to have their cat(s) neutered is saying in essence that the lives of those MILLIONS of cats matter little, if at all, to them.
