GREAT idea, as are IKEAHacker’s other projects on blog. As a lifelong catmaniac and longtime IKEA junkie, this fits purrfectly with my lifestyle (and that of “my” clowder)! Merci beaucoup for sharing!

I can’t imagine any cat not loving this arrangement. I’m trying to figure out how to convince my husband to let me install these shelves.

Where did you find the part with this metal plate under the shelves? I haven´t seen those in Ikea anymore and would need those desperately!
