They liked it so much that I bought 3 more of them, but we do have 7 cats to share them. They lay on it, snooze on it, scratch on it, and they lay next to it and play with the dangling ball. Sometimes I find it upside down too. It was worth every penny for our kitties to enjoy. Our cats absolutely adore this scratcher that I bought about 6 months ago. I put it upstairs where one cat was always scratching on the carpet, and now he uses this thing instead. Of course he scratches on the carpet part, not so much on the sisal, and it's starting to look a little ratty already, but for that price replacement is not such a big deal. Cheaper than replacing floor carpet, anyway! My cats love this too–I saw it at Target & it was only $20 so I figured what the heck.
