Brand New from Cat Livin’, Wedge Scratcher Debuts at SuperZoo

Brand new and beautiful, this sleek modern scratcher is the latest design from one of my favorite companies, Cat Livin’. This scratcher is so new that it’s not even on their website yet. It’s being debuted at the SuperZoo pet expo in Las Vegas this week and this is the first peek that anyone is getting. The Wedge scratcher features a durable sisal scratching pad paired with one of a variety of wood veneers. American plantation grown walnut is shown above.

It certainly looks sleek, but I think it would be way more fun for the cat if the entire front panel was sisal rather than just the top half. Maybe even the bottom panel could have some sisal on it for those cats that like to scratch horizontally. It also doesn’t look very stable…
