I don't see the problem with the litter box accommodations, it's hardly as if cats care that it's in the closet, they aren't that picky. My sister has done something similar, putting a cat door in the closet door so her dog can't try to eat the cat poo and her cats don't stink up her home. The shelf and beds are lovely designs. I like them. Those cats look perfectly comfortable to me, and shelves for them gives them something else to jump on when they’re running around and playing.
