Although not modern in its styling, this faux planter offers an interesting way to conceal the litter box while keeping it in plain sight. This litter hider resembles a Tuscan-style clay pot, but is in fact made of durable, easy-to-clean plastic. It has a large opening and is quite spacious inside, making it suitable for bigger cats. There is a filtered vent system in the top and it even comes with its own faux plant. You can turn the entrance to the wall to give kitty even more privacy.

We actually tried this out. The vase looks fairly decent, but my cat wouldn’t take to it.

Hmm, no more kitty litter sitting in my guest room. I’ll have to try this.

This is a great idea, but the quality is not worth the price. I saw one at a local pet store and was dissapointed. In this case the pictures are much much beter than the actual product.
I would suggest that you go and make this a DIY. It should be pretty straightforward and you could even use a real plant! The manufacturers should have put more quality into this imho.

We have one of these that our 3 cats share. We also purchased the removable hard plastic liner with it. The kitties seems to like it and it is very roomy inside. The plant is looks very fake though. They have other plants you can ‘upgrade’ to on the site. Also the moss that goes around the bottom of the plant will most likely become a cat toy. We had to replace ours with gravel. It can be a pain to scoop only because it is difficult to replace the top portion and get it to line up perfectly with the bottom. Other than that, we like it a lot. Nobody sees the litter box and it’s easy to clean with no corners and the removable liner. It’s a bit pricey though.

We have many many cats in our home including our own pets as well as fosters for the rescue that we run. This being said, we have over 10 litter boxes in our home. We use these faux plants for 4 of our litter boxes, and the cats use them just as much as the traditional boxes. Our guests always comment on how “cool” they are when we point them out. It is a great disguise. We would love to have more, but they are pretty expensive.
