The Paris-based design collaborative Radi Designers created the Icosahedron — which is a 20-sided shape — apparently as some kind of interactive experience for a cat. Made from folded cardboard, the Icosahedron has holes of various sizes cut in some of its sides. It appears that if a cat goes inside, the form would move quite easily as the cat peeks out the holes. I imagine that this might be extremely entertaining or somewhat annoying for both cat and owner. Would you condier this to be a practical piece of cat furniture, or rather some kind of interactive art piece?

i think it’s a practical interactive cat art piece! i can only imagine the fun my boys would have with that…especially with their affinity for bags/boxes, and stuart’s affinity for any empty container in general (garbage cans, laundry hampers, etc).

I think that the first time one of my kids got in there and it rolled around, they’d swear it off forever.

I agree with Rowan – my cat would enjoy poking his paws through the holes, but if this thing moved he would be scarred for life (if he could even fit in there in the first place). I wish I could find a hide-out toy for my Maine Coon – I love how gigantic he is, but most cat hide-outs barely fit his head

my cats would LOVE/SHRED this! and i have a feeling that i would get great joy out of watching them roll around in it. it might get annoying, but it’s better than them getting into other junk (i.e., any container on/near the floor)!

Mine would love that! They love being carried in the empty laundry basket, so this would be a step up from that! Although Rori would probably chew on it.

My cats would definitely hate it
