It’s polyhedron day! Check out this cardboard cat house that paper artist Sharon Pazner made for her cat Max. Apparently Max outgrew it eventually and decided that it was more fun to eat than play in. It’s quite inspiring though! Lots of ideas for new cat hideouts!

I make what we call “forts” out of cardboard boxes. I cut large holes for my cat to walk through, and will tape them together to form longer chains. Then I cut little holes in various places, which are great for us to play through (I stick my finger in, she bats at it). She loves it.
I had a huge setup once, it even had multiple levels. I kept adding onto it, but it got too big so I took it down. It has been years, and so when I made a small one a couple weeks ago, my cat seemed very happy to have it back (two boxes in an L shape).
It isn’t pretty, but my kitty sure does love it.

MrsMelvin, you took the words right out of my mind! Yes, we do. And yes, we can build a bigger polyhedron for the Max cats of the world, yes?

I just made one and covered each triangle with different black and white pieces of scrapbook paper. It looks awesome and it was a great idea by Miss Pazner.
