Introducing the newest Moderncat fave, Caboodle Corrugated Habitats for Cats from InPlay Products. I spotted this the other day in my local pet boutique (The Noble Beast in Phoenix, thanks ladies!) and I loved it immediately. Made from double-wall corrugated cardboard, this structure comes packaged in a neat little box and assembles into a 20″ x 20″ x 30″ three-story interactive playspace. You can even customize the design by knocking interior passageways into the ceilings/floors. The sleek lines and simple materials make this a kitty condo perfect for a moderncat household.

The reduced packaging already makes this a green product, but add the fact that the condo is made from completely recyclable materials, the white portions are printed with non-toxic soy based inks, and it comes with three “tumblorz” cat toys made from scrap material — this is eco-kitty’s dream home!
The designers of Caboodle obviously achieved their goal of creating a modern, environmentally-friendly, affordable, and non-imposing cat condo that is appealing and entertaining. All that and it’s sustainably manufactured in the USA. Caboodle is available at fine pet boutiques nationwide or it can be purchased directly from caboodlecats.com.

Of course we have one to giveaway! Would I let you down? Please leave a comment on this post telling us what you think of Caboodle and you’ll be entered to win. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing on February 1. This giveaway is limited to addresses in the US and Canada.

What a great idea! The cats can play in it and also use it as a scratching post! Love it .
January 27th, 2009 at 3:35 pm
This would appeal to my cat Mr Mooch in so many ways! It’s a place to sleep, hide, chew cardboard, sharpen nails. I’ll be buying a Caboodle if I don’t win one.
January 27th, 2009 at 3:35 pm
My cats would love this! When I get any sort of card board box, from a package or whatnot, they always seem to find their way in there, sometimes cramed together. Also if my cats loose interest in this hideaway, which cats often do, I can simply recycle it. Smart idea.
January 27th, 2009 at 3:37 pm
I love it! I highly recommend recycling and I do not have the $ to spend on expensive cat condos (got to save up for grad school), so this is perfect. You could even decorate the thing if you wanted to personalize too!
January 27th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
Cute idea, but my cats would have it demolished in a week. The plain vanilla boxes I’ve put out are torn to shreds and chewed up beyond recognition. But if your cats aren’t destructive, it might work.
January 27th, 2009 at 3:41 pm
this caboodles habitat looks great! with one of these cute condos i just might be able to convince my 3 cats to part with the boxes i bring home from costco.
January 27th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
Purrfect condo. This is the ideal kitty box adventure! My fluffy kids would set up camp here, and then stretch out and hang their paws through the holes.
January 27th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
The price isn’t bad at all! I’ll probably just end up buying one if I don’t win.
January 27th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
This is great! So green and easily recycle-able not to mention super portable for those of us still renting and moving every year or so. I love it.
January 27th, 2009 at 3:46 pm
this is great for my kitties since they love to sleep in cardboard boxes!!
January 27th, 2009 at 3:47 pm

January 27th, 2009 at 3:49 pm
this is soooo cute! i want one for my cats!
January 27th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
Very cool. Within two months we’ve taken in three strays and had all medical work done. No money for toys… they would love!
January 27th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
My cat would have a blast playing in this! She loves boxes, bags, anything she can crawl into!
January 27th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
These are so cool! I wonder if it would hold all of my 6 critters…
January 27th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
Chloe woudl love anything new and exciting…Caboodle’s I like the stackable.
January 27th, 2009 at 4:01 pm
I love it, and I know my cat would too! But she would probably chew up all the corners…
January 27th, 2009 at 4:02 pm
My cats would love this. I also wonder though, if they would tip it over. Is the cardboard sturdy enough.
January 27th, 2009 at 4:04 pm
I saw this at my vet’s office. It was pretty well made for what it is. My arms were full of other cat necessities, but I’ve often thought of getting back there and picking one up.
January 27th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
Much more visually appealing than some of the other cardboard cat products out there. And… if my boys didn’t end up using it, it could be used as storage boxes in my office! LOVE that it’s made from recycled materials.
January 27th, 2009 at 4:12 pm
My kids would love one (or two)!!!
January 27th, 2009 at 4:33 pm
My 7 month old stray kitten would love this. It looks great for a small apartment.
January 27th, 2009 at 4:35 pm
I have to admit, these look quite nice. The are far more in keeping with modern design than my Kelloggs or Stella`Artois boxes that he cats love to sleep in.
January 27th, 2009 at 4:45 pm
I love these! And I am sure my kitties will to. Even if I win a set (please please please!), I will definitely purchase it. Cute, light weight, fun multiple levels. The green aspect is an added bonus. I’m trying to be the Green Queen at my workplace.
January 27th, 2009 at 4:48 pm
it’s recyclable but also great looking, and most of the cat condos cost a fortune, so this is something I’d probably buy.
January 27th, 2009 at 4:49 pm
Cardboard heaven!
January 27th, 2009 at 4:49 pm
Cute and trendy- my cats would LOVE this… they’re always in my drawers!

January 27th, 2009 at 4:59 pm
My 5 kitties would love this. They always play in boxes and bags. I add blankets and cushions to make them comfier. Please add me to the list for the giveaway!

Love it! Love it! Love it!
My kitty’s version of heaven is green!!
January 27th, 2009 at 5:07 pm
Cute, stylish, eco-friendly, and hopefully my Caity Sunshine and her son Frisky Business will agree, because I JUST ORDERED THIS! These guys just moved in with us on, of all days, Halloween, and we’re always looking for things to make them happy and to have fun with. This DEFINITELY looks like a WINNER! Soooo looking forward to my set to show up at my door step! I will GLADLY accept another set as a WINNER! Thank you for always showing us cutting edge toys and furniture for us to entertain our furry children.
January 27th, 2009 at 5:09 pm
So Awesome. I suspect that my cats will take one look at it, and then ignore it, in typical cat fashion
But it looks so cool!
January 27th, 2009 at 5:09 pm
I really love products that are environmentally sustainable, cost effective and look great. And the caboodle is fantastic! It looks like it will provide my gorgeous kitten (and me!) hours of entertainment.
January 27th, 2009 at 5:09 pm
I love it and my cats would too! Thanks for sharing your discovery!
January 27th, 2009 at 5:12 pm
Wow, the possiblilites with this and how you could set them up (using several sets)… My kitty would love the fact that it’s made of cardboard too, which she loves to rub her paws on.
January 27th, 2009 at 5:12 pm
My boys would love it! I love that I can reshape it they get so bored so fast but not with this!
January 27th, 2009 at 5:13 pm
This looks like something fun, inexpensive and eco-friendly for my little furballs! I’m sure if they would love to play in this!
January 27th, 2009 at 5:17 pm
I love this! My cat Marley would love to snuggle up in this when I am at work:)
January 27th, 2009 at 5:19 pm
Nice! Do they come in woodgrain?
January 27th, 2009 at 5:24 pm
I love it! I worry my fat cat will break it though. haha
January 27th, 2009 at 5:27 pm
it’s so cute. i can just see my two cats chasing and batting each other through the holes.
January 27th, 2009 at 5:28 pm
This looks like a really fun product.
January 27th, 2009 at 5:32 pm
I have found out rather quickly that the more expensive the toy/accessory/sleeping arrangement the less interest my little Caesar has in it. He loves anything cardboard, so would absolutely love this.
January 27th, 2009 at 5:33 pm
This looks like something my Annie would enjoy. She loves to sneak up and hide in my clothing drawers if I ever accidentally leave one open (which means lots of de-furring!).
January 27th, 2009 at 5:34 pm
I love this! I have an older cat tower as well as a hand me down from a friend and they are in such horrible condition but I don’t know how to replace and dispose of them without creating a lot of waste. This solves a lot of my worries!
January 27th, 2009 at 5:39 pm
Definitely have to have this, great thing for the cats.
January 27th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
I am in love with these. My cats already adore cardboard boxes, and these are perfect! Caboodle has done an excellent job of creating a stylish, light, attractive cat house.
January 27th, 2009 at 5:51 pm
My cats would love this!!
January 27th, 2009 at 6:02 pm
This would fit in beautifully with our decor, and the green credentials make it even more desirable.
It’s a great starter kitty condo!
