In that bottom pic – are those hairbands? My cat LOVES to play with hairbands. She’s the only one of the cats I know that enjoys it so much.

Aww they’re so cute. This made my morning ^_^

No, not hairbands, they’re milk jug rings. Mackenzie has decided that they are the very best toys on earth.

@Erin: My cats love hairbands too!
@moderncat: My cats ALSO love milk jug rings!
I must get a caboodle.

I love the bottom right picture, with one kitty looking through the hole to see what’s going down inside the tower…super cute.

My Maryam loves the little white pull thingies you pull from nondairy creamer. They are kind of like little spinning tops with rings around them.
ConCATs to Kerri’s cats! I’m sure they’re going to love their new Caboodle!

bummer – i had already ordered my caboodle after seeing it on moderncat – didn’t know a coupon was coming.
i did get an email saying that due to the popularity it’ll be about 2-3 weeks before they’re shipped out. just in case your cats were as impatient as mine is.

I saw the Caboodles thingy in a nice pet shop near home. My husband and I were ABSOLUTELY sure both our cats would love it for it is made of cardboard. Bought it. Ensambled it. Failure.
I don’t know why they didn’t like it. They were more attracted to the packaging box than to the caboodle! I even sprayed it with catnip but after the smell was gone our caboodle was forgotten. Sometimes the eldest cat likes to smell the inside of the 1st floor but none of them ever climb higher or play in it.
After analizing it a bit I guess my cats kinda feel it tremble when they jump on it. After all, it doesn’t have the heavy supportive structure a wooden cat tree has. Maybe with a heavier base, it could work for my cats.
I like the idea of using cardboard for a cat tree. It could be better to use recycled cardboard.

It’s funny because we had that concern about it not supporting our two cats, but it was actually very supportive and they love it! I think it just proves that cats have particular tastes. Thanks for tip Kate – I didn’t know you that many kitties?

That was very cute. I know my wife will love to get it for her cats.
