I recently adopted Caesar from C.A.R.E Richmond, he is 6 months old, part Maine Coon, incredibly smoochy and pure black. He is the love of my life, and I am can not get over how intelligent he is. I am in the process of toilet training him and it is going fantastic. You could say that I will be alone this Valentine’s Day as I am not married, nor have any children, but I have my little Caesar to celebrate the day with, and by the way it is also my birthday on Valentine’s (I will be 43). This print would be the most perfect appropriate print to hang on my wall.

I absolutely love Kerry Beary’s art. I’ve had her bookmarked and have been waiting to get some extra money so I can get some pieces. I would LOVE to win this piece, but if I don’t I hope there are some left to buy!

Very cool and retro.
I’ve had cats all my life and one of my favorites was my big black cat, “Plumps”. I can’t recall what we originally named her, but the nickname Plumps just took. 20 pounds and completely black–not one white hair– with huge, slanted yellow eyes and the sweetest personality. She had the tiniest mew, like a kitten. It was an honor and an agony to have your lap chosen for a snuggle; she’d knead your lap for a couple of torturous minutes (20 pounds of cat + claws + human lap = sweet agony) before curling up for a nap. I miss her.
