Since so many people are trying to stay warm this time of year, I thought I’d share this futuristic radiator design, suitable for warming up both you and your moderncat. Originally given an honorable mention in the Designboom Radical Radiators of the Future design competition, “Fedora” is a radiator concept from German designers Eric Falaise and Christine Berkhoven. It includes a recess big enough for two cold feet or a lazy cat. What moderncat wouldn’t love that?
Thanks to Stephanie for the tip. Also posted at io9 and WebUrbanist.

So cool! Our radiator has this metal box casing, which my cats lay on top of all the time. They would love this!

Great idea. This reminds my of my parent’s Aga cooker, we’d have to cook around the dog sprawled in front of it.

As a Chicago native, these would be fantastic to cover the ugly metal heaters and useful to for my babies. Wonderful idea.

I like the concept, but they need to develop it further for MULTI-CAT families like mine.
