This weekend is the 21st annual Art Detour in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. During this special event, Phoenix artists open their studios to the public, displaying their latest art and hosting special events throughout the weekend. There’s a lot to see! I’ve been scoping it out this year looking for Moderncat art. At the PHiX Gallery I ran into Lee Berger and saw one of his fabulous cat paintings. He has done several in the series. The image above is titled “Afternoon” and the two below are “Gato en piso de madera” and “Amigos, enemigos, gatos.”
