DIY Projects, Toys

This cute bird pattern showed-up as part of a beautiful bird mobile last year on the blog for Spool, a nifty looking fabric shop in Philadelphia. Moderncat reader Carly sent in a link to the downloadable pattern and has made some herself, stuffing them full of catnip. They are a great way to showcase bits of your favorite fabrics.

These are too cute! Our cats haven’t the slightest idea what birds are. They’ve seen a few, but they don’t seem to interest them.

I bought a cardinal on a lure pole toy several years back; my brood love the realistic wing-flapping sounds and most of all, the INTERACTIVE PLAY ;)

I have made 3 of these for myself and some friends who also have cats. The cats go crazy for them !! Love them, best d.i.y cat toy I have found yet.
