Yay! Our cats love their toys. We got this groundhog whose tail you pull and it vibrates, because I thought it was cute. We never thought the cats would like to actually play with them for more than 20 seconds. Our male cat learned to pull the tail. He loves the thing.
Here’s a picture of him with his Christmas present that my grandmother got them (which we also thought he wouldn’t like). http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk267/anw122/100_0321.jpg The odd thing is the other one is exactly the same, but a different shape, however he won’t play with it. He hides it my fiance’s closet.

Wonderful! I love your theme weeks, and my cats do too since they always end up with new stuff that I buy from finding out about it here on your blog.

I have to admit I’ve bought lots of toys for my kids but I think they have the most fun with just ’stuff’ like an empty paper sack or a plastic ring off the milk bottle.

So much fun! I love the theme weeks! Always looking for Rat Toys for the Gang since they have their own “live” pet rat they like to hang out with.
And a great way to meet other Etsy Sellers.

The cat and I prefer toys from Purrfect Play. They’re dye-free and made in Indiana. The catnip used is organic, too. I get a huge kick out of watching my cat attack Chubby Snake and do bunny kicks on it.

I’ll be glad to find some ideas to occupy my little tiger. I’m always afraid she’ll get bored, snce she can’t go out, and I’m not always around.
I’ve found some great ideas to make DIY crocheted cat toys, felt cat toys, cardboard cat toys… maybe you could add some more ?

MAKE YOUR OWN CAT TOYS is amazing! Every cat caring family should have this. And the JAKE & MICAH site is adorable! I’ve never seen such a beautiful array of cat collars.

My cats haven’t had new toys in over a year. I keep recycling hoping they won’t notice they are the same ones. Newest thing was a paper sack, with prices the way they are and 5 cats, we recycle our mice, provided they haven’t been destroyed, or missing parts. They could use a new mouse.

Our kitties love their toys also, and they do play with paper bags, boxes, large twist ties (supervised of course), plastic rings from drink bottles, and many other things. Their favorite toys are DaBird, the soft foam rubber mini soccer balls, sparkly balls, their cat tunnels, and many more. They do love their cat trees and climbers very much, and all of the scratchers are very popular. Boris, our Nebelung, loves anything made of sheepskin, and he was frequently carrying off our sheepskin house slippers. I found a sheepskin mouse, and he pounced it right out of the package. All the others seem to know that this mouse belonged to Boris, and it is his all time favorite toy. When these mice went on clearance,I bought him 2 more, and he is one happy kitty. All of their small toys end up under the china cabinet, including the mice. When I get my long duster to rake all of these toys out from under the china cabinet, almost all of our kitty family is right there to play with the toys as they come out. They even help with getting some of them out. I keep a bowl in the living room floor for cat toys, and when the contents get low, I know it is time to clean under the china cabinet again.
