Brand new from Vurv Design, their sleek and elegant Maow feeder is now available in a wall-mounted design. Two wide shallow stainless steel dishes allow plenty of room for sensitive whiskers, plus kitty will get the benefits of eating from a raised feeder (better digestion due to improved eating posture).

The Maow feeder attaches easily to the wall, simply attach the bracket and slide the feeder on and off for easy cleaning. This is one of the most beautiful feeding dishes I have seen!

I agree, it’s really beautiful ! And to mount ot on a wall is a real improvement. I hate it when bowls are dragged by my tiny tiger to the other side of the room…

The finishes are lovely. Not sure which I would choose!

This is awesome, it would look so much cleaner and modern than the bowls on my counter. I have to keep them high because the dog will get to them.
I love the design, its like my dogs bowls, finally my cat can be trendy.

Great idea! Nice for cats not to have to bend down so far to eat.

The wall mount is a good idea but the bowls are too shallow. Cats need to be encouraged to drink but it is hard for them when the water is too low. Their tongues hit the bottom of the bowl. It doesn’t look like they hold much water either to begin with so if someone is at work all day that wouldn’t be good. They’re pretty but not very practical in my opinion.

@stephanie You make a good point about the water. I would probably use this for food. Apparently there is research showing that cats don’t like to eat out of deep dishes because their sensitive whiskers rub against the sides of the bowl and get irritated. It’s actually referred to as “whisker stress.” That is why Vurv designed the shallow dishes especially for cats.

These are so cool. I would use that in a heartbeat for cat food. Probably not water though to protect the wall. My cats would love this and so would I. It’s so sleek and modern.
Great looking product!

I guess the solution to the water would be to attach one to every wall in your home or shave your cat’s whiskers. (joking)

This is a great idea. We have a seasonal issue with ants, and it’s difficult to keep them from the catfood dishes if they are left on the floor. I don’t want to take the dishes away if there is food left for them to nibble, but if they don’t get to those last few morsels first, then sure enough, the ants will. This design still attaches to a surface the ants can climb, but getting it off the floor so that i can wipe underneath it when they finish eating should be prevention enough. …and the design is prrrfect!

I have 3 cats, and I think they would love it! I think I would use all three dishes for food though. Keeping it off the floor is a great idea.

I love it. It’s looks like it would be great for cleaning up the floor. My 4 kitties always take a mouthful of food from the bowl and drop it on the floor to eat. It’s a hassle cleaning up the crumbs from the floor all scattered around the bowls.

What I like most is the height for cats.

I really love this. It would be perfect for us. However it is too much money for us to spend on anything right now, and too much for us to spend on cat bowls ever. My mind immediately goes into its “hmmm… how could I make this myself” mode. This is nothing against Vurv. Their products are part utilitarian and part work of art. I support local, grassroots designers and stores. But this unfortunately often ends up being more theoretical than practical. If I had more (any!) discretionary funds I that wouldn’t be the case.
I really like how it is up off the floor and would make it so much easier to clean the floor. No more mats or towels under the bowls.
Lucky likes to pull his water bowl around and splash in it and this would help keep it in one place. However for that reason I have had bad luck with double-diner type bowls. He tends to get the water into the food bowl. With separate bowls I can distance them further. But I think with them off the ground like this it would be less likely to happen. That would just have to be an experiment.
I agree the water bowl is insufficient. Cats need lots of fresh water. Since the design is open at the bottom it seems it would be possible for Vurv to offer an optional deeper bowl for one of the holes.

Awesome idea! Absolutely love it. I have 4 cats and this is a neat idea instead of having bowls scattered all over the floor. Got to get one soon.

This is the best feeding system I have ever seen. Would be great for our shelter cats that get to run free. And no picking up to clean our floors!!

The bowls suddenly look cool
