Created in the 1950s by Swiss artist Donald Brun, these two poster designs for Zwicky yarn feature swank kitty images that helped define the simple cartoon-like style of the mid twentieth century. This moderncat makes a very fitting mascot for a yarn company.

Wow! Is it possible to by them from somewhere?

Yes, Mariell, the posters are available! The Donald Brun link in the posting will take you to the International Poster Gallery website, where you will find both posters (and many, many more).

Echoing Mariell, and adding that these really make me want to learn how to knit. Or crochet, or something creative with yarn.

I love these! I have been looking for black cat art for my new home. Are these available for sale?

I got the smaller (white background) lithograph in 2008 for $500 from the International Poster Gallery. It really is a fantastic print and looks much better in real life.
