Moderncat reader, and AT Unplggd contributor, Sonia sent me some photos of the cool kitty perch she made using a wine box and some Ikea shelf brackets. Sonia’s moderncats Dim Sum and Gizmo love hanging out next to their mom’s desk while she works. I love the photos below of Dim Sum peeking out of his perch!

What a wonderful idea! My husband is having the same problem. Our youngest likes to try and ‘catch’ the mouse on the screen and then takes a nap between screen and keyboard…
I’m thinking of installing something similar!!!

Awesome! I’ll have to see what we can do. Our cat has a chair that she lays in when I’m working on my computer.

I couldn’t remember where I saw this and wanted to give credit where it is due. After reading the post, I immediately called my local wine shoppe and had them set a wooden wine box aside. It is now my little guy’s favorite place to lay and watch over his world. Thanks for the great idea!

Great pictures! Your cats are adorable. Cats really love wine crate bed perches. We have two cats, and each one has their own!
