Sweet and funny like only cats can be!
April 24th, 2009 at 6:19 am
Oh that is soooooo cute! I have a tortie as well….:)
April 24th, 2009 at 7:16 am

i love torties.
i have one too, a crazy but very sweet one named lily.
April 24th, 2009 at 7:18 am
It’s good to be a cat!
April 24th, 2009 at 7:20 am
That the way my cat acts when I give her catnip. it’s so fun to watch.
April 24th, 2009 at 7:21 am
Adorable! I have a tortie who looks like these two on top, but she has a calico belly… I thought all torties were like this until I watched this video.
And she is, alas, immune to catnip.
April 24th, 2009 at 7:23 am
Loooove the catnip! Lovely torties!
Catnip is a member of the mint family. No wonder my cats try to climb in my mouth or face love me to death when I brush my teeth!
April 24th, 2009 at 7:31 am
We call this “scoot and stretch” in our house.
Our cat does it without having any catnip.
April 24th, 2009 at 7:33 am
MOL! I love the catnip all in the furr. Great video! Thanks for sharing it!
April 24th, 2009 at 7:35 am
Like a couple of college sophomores during finals week….
April 24th, 2009 at 7:50 am
Beautiful cats! They really bring so much joy to us, don’t they? I have two torties also; one black/ tan and one blue cream (they are sisters). They were feral rescues and just love life in the house and catnip, as well! Thanks for the post – it made my day!
April 24th, 2009 at 7:58 am
haha cute
April 24th, 2009 at 7:59 am
They’re so cute and happy!
April 24th, 2009 at 8:12 am
Good lookin’ kitties
April 24th, 2009 at 8:32 am
There so cute!! thanks for sharing!
April 24th, 2009 at 8:35 am
I’ve got a tortie too – very gentle little girl. But it’s my russian blue who rolls on the floor. The tortie sometimes twitches her head and thrills sometimes – it’s hilarious, really.
April 24th, 2009 at 8:43 am
I’m partial to torties as well.
Thanks for the video. Adorable.
April 24th, 2009 at 8:44 am
Oh, they are so cute!
April 24th, 2009 at 8:47 am
I love everything about this! The choice of 1920′s-style jazz soundtrack is perfect, too, because those torties are like flappers — 100% fancy and high as a kite.
April 24th, 2009 at 9:24 am
Felines are simply THE BEST!!!!
April 24th, 2009 at 9:28 am
I love Torties and can’t live without them. Every single Tortie I’ve had in my life (5 so far) has found me! They’ve all been strays. I think they’re really special cats–a bit wackier than other cats.
April 24th, 2009 at 9:43 am
i am fairly new to the world of cats and had never heard of torties before…gorgeous gorgeous!!!
April 24th, 2009 at 9:50 am
Fanks so much to Pearl, Bert & Jake fur telling tha Cat Blogosphere about this grrrreat video. How adorable… I wants to roll wif ‘em.
Love & Purrs,
KC
April 24th, 2009 at 10:45 am
Nicely done! They look like great pals. I’m just a little shocked because whenever I see photos of your house it is immaculate; hard to imagine it it with ‘nip on the floors. (I make my boy use the bagged stuff.)
April 24th, 2009 at 10:48 am
So much fun! Thanks for sharing.
April 24th, 2009 at 11:26 am
Your momma sure is generous! We never get that much nip to play with. Our momma must be stingy, or could it be that we get into fights whenever we get too “high”, lol!
April 24th, 2009 at 11:40 am
They sure are having fun! Thanks for sharing!
One of my cats is a wonderful 16 year old rescued Tortie & I just love her!!
April 24th, 2009 at 11:56 am
Awwww. They’re in catnip heaven!
April 24th, 2009 at 12:50 pm
I love your kitty with the half and half face! That is so neat..
April 24th, 2009 at 1:09 pm
They made our mom smile too. Now we want some catnip!
Purrs, Siena & Chilli
April 24th, 2009 at 3:46 pm
Aw, so cute…are you guys rolling in catnip??
April 24th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
Adorable video and beautiful cats! I love torties!
April 24th, 2009 at 3:57 pm
Very cute, we just lost a tortie we loved very much to cancer last fall. They are so smart, haughty, and cute, aren’t they?
April 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
Nothing beats having a Torti… I have two, one long hair, one short hair they are great and certainly don’t have the “torti-tudes” I’ve heard about.
April 24th, 2009 at 4:24 pm
nipheads, nipheads,
roly-poly nipheads,
nipheads, nipheads,
lick it up, yum!
That’s the song my mommy sings to me when I get nip and start rolling!
April 24th, 2009 at 4:51 pm
That’s too cute! Thanks so much for sharing it.
April 24th, 2009 at 4:56 pm
lol..wish my guys got along so well when they do the nip roll.
April 24th, 2009 at 4:56 pm
WOW, I’m a Flora and Dazzler Fan Club Charter Member! What style! What grace! WHAT TORTLETUDE!!! Love the soundtrack as well. My black tiger tabby alpha male, Samuda, came in to investigate with much interest; Tarifa, our resident Tortellini, has bigger fish to fry, obvy.
April 24th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
cute — all cats should be so lucky!!
April 24th, 2009 at 6:43 pm
Adorable! Of my five cats I have:
1 that rubs and rolls his head in it a little
1 that sits and eats the catnip and then walks away
1 that sits on it and rolls a little
1 that goes NUTS and is a junkie, he knows where we keep it and asks for it
and 1 that could care less about catnip.
April 24th, 2009 at 6:45 pm
Too cute – I just want to scoop them up and give them a snuggle. They should try out for the Olympic’s Synchronized Rolling Team.
April 24th, 2009 at 7:05 pm
UH-oh! I can’t stop watching this video. It’s all your fault.
April 24th, 2009 at 7:55 pm
So sweet. That made me smile a very genuine smile. And I love little torties!!
April 24th, 2009 at 7:56 pm
Oh, and the music really sets the video off purfectly.
April 24th, 2009 at 9:12 pm
Aww…they are just adorable. I never get tired of watching cats mine or someone elses’ companions. Precious souls. =^..^=
April 25th, 2009 at 2:42 am
I have two cats and one is a tabby/tortie mix and she is not only gorgeous but is also the nicest, sweetest, most loving cat I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had cats all my life). Both of my cats were rescued from the Humane Society and I consider myself lucky to have them, almost as if it was fate.
Catnip for everyone, on me!
April 25th, 2009 at 9:00 am
How cute. The one in front is a real ‘nip fiend!
April 25th, 2009 at 11:38 am
Happy CATurday, Flora and Dazzler! View #4 and counting. You wouldn’t make a longer viddy, would you???
April 25th, 2009 at 2:42 pm
Very cute! They’re almost synchronized. Victor LOVES catnip but his claws immediately come out. Nina likes the smell and taste but doesn’t seem to get crazy. Bonnie was the “roll in it until I’m covered” type. What IS it about that stuff???
April 25th, 2009 at 9:25 pm
That is both funny & cute at the same time. Thank you for posting that!
