One of my cats is a large girl, and likes to lay in places that fit her “curves”! I think the Curve is most like a cat’s body, and a place they would prefer to lounge. I know that “Tuffi” loves the curvy scratching post she uses (bought from Petco), and her favorite part is laying in the upturned part of the “S”. I’d love to see her try out your Curve! It would be also nice if the covering material were sisal!

I love all the perches; they could be used in conjunction w/ each other to provide my cat with an awesome playground around the house. I’m excited to see all these move to production so I can buy a few of each

Cats go to height to rest or sleep this is a natural behavior for safety so I vote for the curved designs my cats would find these the most comfortable most like a natural surface ie tree branch or smooth slopping rock.

OHHHHHH! I’m so upset I missed the opportunity to win one of these!!! I’ve wanted perches like these for what seems like eternity, the Curve in particular!
I can’t buy them since I’ve no spare cash to spend on much more than basic necessities, & if I did, it’d be spent on the food & vet costs of fostering homeless felines down on their luck. I definitely don’t have the technical knowhow, time, resources, etc, to create such beautifully crafted & stained perches those seen here!

So my plan is to continue collecting found wood (for those of you who don’t know, there are major treasures to be had in a college city the 1st & last week of the summer months) until I have what I need, which is taking much longer than I thought it would. I’ll be working with a lot of flawed (visually speaking) wood, so I plan to emphasize the layout of the shelves, rather than the shelves themselves. How they’re arranged on the wall will be most important. THEN I’ll paint, stencil, or stain whatever can be seen (the tops will have a scratching/lounging surface).
Once the layout is planned & the wood is painted/stenciled/stained, it can be installed. Thus, realizing my dream of having fun wall jungle gym or maze, of sorts, to stimulate & enhance my kitties lives that also serves as a beautiful design element to visually enhance the space for the humans who they share it with!

My biggest concern is making whatever perches, walkways I put up structurally sound. I don’t want my kitties gaining too much weight & free falling during a catnap, & I don’t want to worry about the resulting chaos:
Distracted by the panic I’d feel upon seeing a massive hole in the wall of my RENTED apartment, said kitty would have the perfect opportunity & the ideal camouflage – plaster, paint, & drywall – to sneak through that hole undetected & into the really interesting and yet to be discovered territory behind the walls of this hundred-plus-year-old, 180-unit apartment building… need I say more?

Curve, definitely! Cats can curl up or roll around in the curves. I don’t like the boxes, seems like a waste of material. CC is cool, though, since it provides more surfaces, inside or out.

I like the curve design. My two cats like to be as high as possible but they still like to be close to each other. They don’t like to share so the curve design is perfect.

All three are great designs. But I really love number 3 the best. My cats love to go in and under things so this woud be awesome.
