This handsome man is Basil Farrow, formerly owned by actress Mia Farrow, and now living with his fashion designer mom Carmina of La Carmina fame. Basil is lounging on a Mogu meditation cushion, which seems to make a perfect napping spot for a feline seeking enlightenment.
I’ve never though of using meditation cushions for the cats, but it makes perfect sense, if they’re comfortable for humans to sit on for hours, then why wouldn’t a cat love one, too. Traditionally made with buckwheat hull filling that conforms to any shape, these cushions would probably be a cat magnet. I found some similar cushions at The Monastery Store.

One of my kitties is drawn to a similar footstool that we have. It’s pretty much a stuffed fabric pouffe in about the shape of a (veryvery) large cat food can. He loves it. If you can’t find him… try there.

WHY IN THE WORLD would Mia Farrow give up her cat? Do I want to know? NO!!! Basil Farrow is so adorable! (Oh, yeah, the cushions are beautiful, too, in my favorite colors of green and brown!)
