Last month I introduced you to Maru in Maru vs. The Big Box. Well, this adorable Scottish Fold is quickly becoming a Moderncat Fave. He lives in a cool modern pad in Japan with his mom and he is endlessly entertaining and very photogenic. Check out his blog (it’s in Japanese) and all of his other videos on YouTube. The video above is a good overview of some of his best tricks. I love Maru!

I just went to Maru’s blog. I love it! I thought Maru was just a really gorgeous tabby. But now I realise he is a Scottish Fold. Now I want a Scottish Fold! Does anyone know if Russian Blues get along with Scottish Folds?

My brother introduced me to this awesome cat a year ago and we’re addicted to all his antics. The one where he’s walking around with a bag on his head never ceases to crack me up!

These are great! I love Maru.
Also, if you right click on the blog page, you have the option to have the page translated into English, or whatever language you speak. There are some cute entries on the blog, but it is kind of choppy reading with the translation. Just wanted to give a heads up in case others wanted to read what it said too.

What a nut! Nothing brightens my day like watching kitties play. I wish I had a kitty cam at home so I could watch mine while I’m at work.

I’ve been subscribed to Maru’s youtube page for a while and everything he does is magic! No matter how many times I watch his videos they never lose their charm.

i found maru a month or so ago, and i can’t tell you how many times i’ve watched his videos! i believe maru is the best cat of all time. how can so much personality be contained within one cat!
