No, these aren’t photos, they are colored pencil drawings by artist Johnnie Scouten of The Illustrated Cat. Johnnie’s remarkable images are available as matted prints and on note cards. There are several different designs to choose from, each one equally amazing.

The luminescent eyes caught our attention first… then the amazing detail of each hair. These prints are absolutely enchanting! Even someone who doesn’t fancy cats would appreciate the artistry each one displays! Ooooooooo would we like to have them? You betcha!!!

Oh! What a mystery is a cat! Those eyes in the prints, evoke a sense of intrigue and make me wonder, as I do with my own cats, just what is going on in the mind behind those eyes.
