this is a fabulous design. i am surprised a manufacturer hasn’t jumped on this. i also just discovered your site tonight. it is very classy and well-laid out. congratulations.

I really like the design, but not a fan of the knots. They look out of place with the sleek wood, probably wouldn’t be that easy to untie for cleaning, and it seems like they would shift the first time the cat gets on the hammock after cleaning, which could frighten them so that they don’t trust it.

I would love to see maybe a loop on each corner of the fabric, which could go through the hoops and attach to a hook or knob or something. So the fabric is tucked out of the way, it’s easy to get on & off, and more sturdy.

This is brilliant!! I know my cat loves hammocks and already has a raised feeder (very poorly made by me with an empty ice cream tub LOL!) so that’d be perfect, I love the idea and hope it goes on sale worldwide!

The hammock part confuses me. Cats like warmth, but the bottom of the hanging cloth will be ventilated by draughts so common just above the floor, effectively removing the accumulated heat.

While the hammock is very nice, the bowls aren’t that original. You can get something similar at trendypet.com, though admittedly they’re probably more for dogs than cats. I purchased one several years back after reading that dogs benefit from eating with their heads raised rather than hunched over (less *ahem* flatulence). Not sure if this is true for kitties But again, thanks for sharing!

Oh my, this is fabulous.

She gets an A+ from me as well. I love that it has a small footprint. I can wash the fabric easily. It’s off the ground which Beanty likes and it looks good – which I like.

One thing I would request is the use of warmer fabrics. Here in the Pacific Northwest, there’s always a damp chill in the air.

Can I get her to make a hammock for me say about 6 feet long…

The hammock should be produced for purchase, they are amazing & so sleek! I know Mr. Miles would love it! He used to have a hammock type bed (not as nice looking) but it was lost when we moved. I’ve been trying to find another hammock bed since. He absolutely loved it! Great design Cori.

I don’t know. I’d like to see if cats will use it. I know some of mine are weird about walking on unstable surfaces. Wonder if she had test kitties?
