Cats love cardboard scratchers but we can do without the cardboard flakes all over the floor. Here is a solution from Cat Above Company.
The new ScratchPal™ is a patent-pending cardboard cat scratcher that contains the cardboard flakes. The high sides, broad lip, and side channels of the scratcher accumulate scratched off particles and prevent cardboard particles from scattering on the floor. The ScratchPal includes a long-lasting, super dense, 2-inch thick cardboard scratching pad that pops out for easy replacement and can be used on both sides.
Made of cabinet-grade birch plywood, the ScratchPal has small feet to elevate it off the floor. It’s also heavier than a regular cardboard scratcher, so it doesn’t slide across the floor when the cat uses it. With simple clean lines and natural materials, the ScratchPal would look good in any home.
Limited time offer: FREE SHIPPING when you buy the ScratchPal (U.S. contiguous states only). The ScratchPal sells for $39.95 US.

What an awesome idea! I currently am owned by 7 cats (+ several foster cats and a feral colony on my property). My husband and I also are very involved with a number of cat rescue organizations. Everyone in my cat family would fight over this scratcher. I’d have to buy several! Unfortunately, all of our $ goes to feed our cats along with feeding and sheltering the many homeless cats that have been abandoned or lost due to the economy and people moving. We also have a couple of rescued canines who think they are cats. We can always dream…
