I call them strays since they seem to be well fed and halfway socialable but are outside all the time. I would put this on my patio where they could nap when it is cold or rainy. Maybe he'll take this to shelter. So far, he has ignored all of my shelter attempts (though right now it is unseasonably warm). He probably still remembers the last time he went into something on my deck - that resulted in his being neutered. But the female feral used my shelters until she decided she needed to move inside. She is now a very happy indoor-only cat : ) I’d love to try if for my outside feral. Maybe he’ll take this to shelter. I give the design two thumbs up. I have a friend who has an indoor/outdoor cat. He has a little box with a heating pad - this would definitely be an upgrade.
