Simon Tofield, the creator of Simon’s Cat, has been drawing the little guy in his famous YouTube videos since 2007, depicting the hilarious relationship between a man and his cat. Hey, dat wus vury vury funny! I luvs to jump on the table when mom is writing or somethin-it’s lots a fun, i don tear her papers up tho, don wanta make her made at me! It hurts my little felins fur her to use ruff voice on me. I’s still vury sensitive! Me and Boo luffed our heads off at that Simon cat!Mom had ta luff and say – ok boys, don’t be getting any ideas!!!

I saw this book a few days ago and was thrilled to see it again on Moderncat!!
I have been a HUGE fan of Simon the Cat – from youtube – and have put this book on my wishlist!! I’ve been on sick leave lately, but even being able to briefly flip through the book made me laugh and smile!!!
So much more cool illustrations in the book that I’ve never seen!! I love it!!!
Hope they publish more!!!

My cat, Mattie MacPherson, does lots of the things that Simom’s cat does in his videos. After seeing the video of cat-man-do, I removed any bats or clubs from my bedroom, just in case. I have been awakened many times with the cat slap and bouncing kitty routine in the early morning for food and affection. So far the patient lectures on how “Momma” is not nocturnal, has proven to be less than successful.
I can so understand where Simon is coming from but wouldn’t give Mattie up for the world.
