With a background in graphic design, painting, ceramics, sculpture, and textiles, paired with an obvious passion for mid-century modern design and cats, this artist is a new Moderncat fave. She goes by CZM and her art is oh, so mod. She has a huge portfolio that includes an entire line of cat paintings — Cubist Cats, Abstract Cats, Black Cats, Minimalist Cats, Gorey Mod Cats, and Funky Space Cats. Plus, there’s her signature El Gato Gomez, the embodiment of all that is hip and cool.
CZM’s cool cats also show up in some of her character paintings as well as with Le Diable. There are so many awesome cat paintings to choose from, I had a hard time picking my favorites to share with you here, so please take a look at CZM’s website to see them all for yourself.
