This litterbox looks good but it is MUCH too small, and covered boxes are really not a great idea unless they are huge, as they hold in odor (which the cat then has to deal with in a small space). It’s boxes like this that result in litterbox aversion problems.

The ModKat website has a size comparison chart on the homepage showing it next to the other hooded litter boxes on the market, you will see it is similar in size and in some cases larger. Many cats prefer hooded litter boxes to trays for privacy, as you probably know every cat has it’s own personality. To reduce smells for any litter box we always recommend using good natural litter along with diligent scooping every day and thorough cleaning once a week.
