Photographer Troy Snow takes some of the most amazing animal photos I’ve ever seen. He specializes in capturing animals in their natural environment, having worked as a photographer at Best Friends Animal Society for six years. His collection of feral cat photos is incredible, showing how patient he is and how he knows just which angle to use to get the perfect shot.
Twelve of Troy’s feral cat photos have been compiled into a 2010 wall calendar available from lulu.com. $2.00 from each calendar will be donated to Alley Cat Allies, the leading organization in the US advocating for the humane care of feral cats.

You can see more of Troy’s amazing photos on his Flickr page. Get your calendar from lulu.com today!

I discovered Troy’s Flickr stream about 6 months ago, and was completely speechless. His photographs are beautifully composed and so captivating ~ a true artist and animal lover. Thanks for sharing his calendar with us!

I just checked out the flickr stream. Wow! Mr. Snow, you have some serious talent. I love the cat in the sink, licking the dripping water. I’ll have to buy the calendar too. Moderncat, if Mr. Snow ever publishes a coffee table book with his photos, please let us know!

Something else about Troy: He’s the one who courageously documented the Great Kitty Rescue, from which Moderncats Dazzler, Flora, Sebastian, and Ginseng were adopted.

BEAUTIFUL felines captured beautifully in a calendar for the BEST cause — what could be better than that? (And PS: To sendy — There ARE no “ordinary” cats)

Kate, I sure appreciate you taking time to tell everyone about my new calendar. And thanks to everyone who stopped by Flickr and made contact. I feel like I’ve already made some new friends.
BTW: Thanks to you I sold 6 calendars yesterday! I couldn’t have done it without your help in spreading the word. Thanks for caring!
Happy Holidays to all of you!

To bad he doesn’t care as much about his son as he does cats.
