A while back I showed you the Banana Leaf Cat Cave. Here are two more additions to the banana leaf line, this time raised up high on a sisal wrapped pedestal that can be used as a scratching post. Lots of kitties love to perch up high and these beds can be moved anywhere to accommodate an afternoon nap.
The Banana Leaf Pedestal Cave Cat Bedsells for $89.99 US and the Banana Leaf Pedestal Cat Bed
is on sale right now for $63.74 US (regularly $74.99), both at Meijer.com
.

That looks like a super deal, two for one. They can scratch and sleep. What more do they need. Really nice stuff

Oh wow! These look amazing…perfect for the kitten who wants to be elevated plus hidden a bit! My kits would love it!

Wow! I was just wondering about pedestal beds, and here they are. Beautiful, but rather expensive. I may have to make my own……

How clever and Eco smart. A great way to reduce carpet in landfills. One word: awesome

I don’t know these would last about a month or so in our house. Wont the cats scratch up the banana leaf domes?

Thank you–these look wonderful! But, does anyone have experience using them in a household w/ a rambunctious/energetic fur crew? I can just imagine my girl Whisper trying to take a snooze while her little bro Banjo enthusiastically ripped up the scratching post. Are the supports more or less topple-proof?

These are gorgeous and perfect for the cat who likes napping “on high”! Great for multicat families, those with, eh, pardon the expression, (dogs), and those with kids. A place of refuge and a sanctuary should be available to ALL cats! J.M. Ackerman does raise some salient points, though…?

hmm i think my cas would like one of these parked in front of patio doors or a nice window,so much more comfy than the flat small ledges that are out there.

Cats like places to sleep and play that are high up. I just hope this is bigger than the Hepper pod bed which was the biggest waste of money I had ever spent on my cats. They were cramped inside that thing so after the first day they ended up sleeping on top of it which smashed it down.

My cats would love them…but would the basket really support a 15 pounder? I have a very large framed male cat (he’s only about 1 pound overweight) and it seems like the basket would go all wonky quickly.

These look pretty cool! I love that the pedestal is wrapped with sisal so cats can use it as a scratching post, too!

These really are awesome! I think my kitty would like it right by the window so she can look out between naps!
