The Richell Tiny Tot Pet Caddyoffers a 2-in-1 design that just might make it easier to take kitty to the vet. The top of this contemporary carrier is easily removable, allowing you to use the padded bottom portion as a bed while at home. When it’s time to go, simply snap the top on and kitty has familiar surroundings as she travels.

When the carrier is fully assembled, access is through a tinted top-latched door, making for easy loading and unloading, plus you can see kitty when she’s inside. A safety hook on the front allows for added security and protection when traveling in the car. Remember, it’s important to always strap in your carrier while driving with kitty!

The Richell Tiny Tot Pet Caddyis available in three colors, red, yellow, and blue
for $49.99 US, but blue and yellow are currently on sale for $37.49.

Now that’s a great idea and it looks pretty comfortable for your cat too!

Wow…what a well-thought-out design. Great price-point, too.

I love that idea as my cats are very scared as soon as they see “the vet” carrier. Great price too!

What a wonderful idea! I especially like the seat belt clip. It can be so difficult to properly restrain carriers in cars, and I don’t think people realize what a danger an untethered hard plastic box could be during an accident.
I also wonder if the cat will habituate to the carrier when the base is used as a bed. It could reduce the stress of transporting kitty if they’re already accustomed to part of the caddy.

That is a great price for great idea. Have to look into the actual size and weight limit on it — I’ve got big kitties….

This is a wonderful idea! I really wish that I could buy two, right now. I love the idea of a cozy bed that the lid snaps onto, so that my kitties wouldn’t be scared of their carrier when I went to take them to the vet. Brilliant.

Oh Please send one soonest LOL. What a great idea!
Sure beats hauling our boys in those big dog crates we have, although I’m not sure they would like traveling separated, but, hey, it looks a heckuva lot lighter. As Teresa asked, is there a weight limit for this carrier?

Great idea! And affordable as well. Now THAT’s a Moderncat winner!

I second the big cat thing – I wonder what the weight limit is on something like this?

Hey Kate, I researched this cool carrier and the maximun weight allowed is 11 lbs. My furryguys are a little bigger than that (16 and 15 lbs. respectevely)…too bad, I love the red one…

Great idea and reasonable price. Wish I hadn’t bought my cat a new bed for Christmas!

This is really nice! I love the seat belt safety hook and how easy it seems to convert from a bed to a carrier!!

Being able to belt our little furballs into the car is a great safety feature. I love it!

I love how you can use a seatbelt with it when in the car. Great pricing on them too!

it can also double as a beer cooler when you aren’t using it for the cat. seriously though, the window and the ability to belt the carrier in are both good innovations and at $37 it’s a great deal.

I just wish they came in a larger size!
January 15th, 2010 at 3:28 pm
oh, this is great! i love the seatbelt part too.
