These are really nice. I definitely like the combination of the brown and blue better, and the design is very streamlined and functional.

Another suggestion for that sweet two-level bed: if the the levels were made a little larger, an opening could be made in the first to the second so a cat could climb down. That way the levels could remain close without making it difficult for cats to access the lower area.

These designs make much more sense to me. The single bed with the scratching area is fantastic. Is the scratching area interchangeable? Not all cats like all scratching materials (cardboard, sisal, carpet, etc..) and it would be so disappointing to buy a great looking piece like these only to find out the cats won’t use it!

For the two-tier bed, I like the sleek lines and the fact there are two “shelves” for hiding plus room underneath for another bed if needed.
One thought, though… I suggest the lower “shelf” should be a little wider. Maybe it’s because my cats are not very coordinated, but I see them missing the mark on that one.

Overall though, very much improved and I love them!

Those are great looking beds and the added scratch post is genius thinking. And you could put a bed on the bottom too and have a place for three.

The two-tiered seats look good… but I wonder if, especially after the breakfast-in-bed idea, if Mr. Lukes actually lives with a cat. My crew says they would like more space between the seats if they’re actually expected to jump in rather than crawl from somewhere else. They’d also like the lower platform to extend beyond the upper. A landing platform so as not to bump noses on the seat above. They all agree with the earlier writer that a human/cat combo is a great idea.

Both of Lukes’ designs are great, but my favorite is the two-story design, with a bed on top and a hiding place just underneath – cats love hiding places! I’m curious as to what the scratching pad material is – love the colors. Also, will the two-story design take the weight of a person sitting on it, like a bar stool type chair? Other than getting cat hair on one’s posterior, that would make it a great triple-use piece (cat bed, cat hiding place, seat for humans).

Optional planter instead of a scratch pad would also be awesome… and the scratching area could then be on the wall behind the bed.

Yep – the scratching pad makes so much more sense because they love to stretch and scratch when they frist wake up. Great combination and great style
