Meet Morgan. He’s a special little guy, born with bilateral cataracts and juvenile diabetes. But he’s a lucky guy, too, because his mom Donna is crafty and creative! She’s the one behind the Etsy shop Morgan’s Beds where she sells comfy handmade cat beds to help pay for Morgan’s medical expenses.
The beds are made with quality fabrics and poly fill. They are machine washable and can even go in the dryer. Here are some satisfied customers enjoying their beds:

Donna is offering this fun bed in a mod spotted design to one lucky Moderncat reader! To enter, please leave a comment on this post. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing on February 2 and notified via email. One entry per person. This giveaway includes shipping to addresses in the US. Readers outside the US may enter if they are willing to pay the extra shipping ($21 to Canada, $29 to the UK).

I’m up to 8 cats as well as a feral colony. One of my latest adoptions is an 11-yr old maine coon, AND he’s been diagnosed diabetic. Now he’s on insulin and looking MUCH better – he’s a beauty. Reminds me in shape of your Morgan.

That’s so sweet that Donna makes the cat beds to help with Morgan’s medical expenses. Even if I win one, I will have to buy one. I have two cats and it will go to a good cause.

Hi Morgan, this is Lillie. I would love to have one of those beds your mommy makes. It would be PURRRRRRfect. I am glad we both have great mommies.
January 27th, 2010 at 8:03 am
Oh my goodness, those beds look wonderful! I’ve heard so many good things about them from Facebook friends who have purchased them for their pets. We have 3 cats — the mother was a rescue and she arrived at our home pregnant. She gave birth to a male & a female kitty on February 12th about 5 years ago, so their birthday is only 10 days after your draw! The male is so huge that he would probably need a dog bed to sleep in (giggle), but I know our momma cat and her daughter would love to have one of these wonderful beds to sleep in, they might even curl up in it together! Those three yellow kitties in your photos look soooo cute and very comfortable indeed!
January 27th, 2010 at 8:03 am
My cat loves to curl up in cozy soft spots, like on my blanket. If he eon this giveaway, he’ll have a bed all to himself
January 27th, 2010 at 8:04 am
I’ve seen many postings on Catster about Morgan Beds. Everyone seems to love them.

Brilliant! If I don’t win, I’ll just have to check out the site and get a few for our boys!!
January 27th, 2010 at 8:06 am
I would love to win this giveaway for my cat Jake. He likes to sit on the floor of my
little office while I work at the computer and keep me company. The bed would be so cozy for him.
Thanks.

What a special person to take on such a special needs kitty! I have a blind cat, he’s been blind since birth and he has occasional seizures. We figure he probably came from an unvaccinated Mom, so there’s more than likely a lesion of some sort in his brain.
The HS brought him to our clinic to be euthanized – said he was un-adoptable. We looked at this tiny “spider monkey” making the clinic his own and thought “We can’t kill this cat”…so he became a clinic cat.
Thanksgiving was full for boarding, I brought him home for the holiday and he stayed. That was almost 2 years ago.
He makes me laugh every day.

I recently rescued a beautiful Siamese 3 year old named Scarlett who loves to snuggle in blankets but doesn’t so much love my leather couches. My decor is very modern and this would be a lovely addition for her to relax on and still be with the family. They are quite striking.
January 27th, 2010 at 8:07 am
Hi, I would love to win this cute bed. My cats would totally love it and be fighting over it.

I can understand Donna’s love for her cat Morgan. I too have a disabled kitty, and the medical expenses are nothing compared to the love we feel for our beloved companions. Good idea though in creating these fun beds, I wish her the best of luck in her enterprise! These beds look super!
January 27th, 2010 at 8:13 am
