I’m always looking for new additions to my arsenal of stain- and odor-fighting products, especially products that are non-toxic and earth-friendly. The folks at Clean+Green sent me some of their odor-eliminating & stain-removing cat products to test, and I’m very pleased with the results. These are excellent weapons in the war against stink and stain.
The Clean+Green product line offers several types of all natural, non-toxic and pet-safe cleaners and odor removers. Choose from concrete & grout, furniture refresher, wood & tile, carpet & upholstery, or litter box products. When you spray the product on the odor source, the odor is encapsulated and then biodegrades. These are not just fragrance sprays that mask the odor, in fact there is no fragrance at all, the odor is completely eliminated.
The products also work as stain removers. I used the carpet & upholstery cleaner to spray a little “accident” someone left on the floor and the spot came out completely and much more easily than if it had been untreated.
The best part is that the entire line of Clean+Green products is biodegradable, water soluble, and ozone safe. That means safe for you, safe for your cat, and safe for the planet!
Clean+Green products are available from the Clean+Green website and also from Amazon.

Lord knows I need some of this stuff with 4 cats
February 10th, 2010 at 8:24 pm
I sooo need this! My hubby and I have been TNR (trap neuter & release) of a colony in our neighborhood. One of the drawbacks of foreclosures is discarded pets. Along with the ferals we trapped last month was a large intact adult male (14+ pounds and over 9 years old). The chances that any of the local rescue groups could get him adopted is near nil. He has all the strikes against him. So we took him in with our other 4 rescue kitties. He is trying to be top cat and keep scaring the pee out of the others. Between the fear spray and the fact that he is not good with the litter box, we need stain and scent removers!
I may look for these in the stores.

I have been looking for something like these!!! I’m always worried that my cleaning products are not good for my cat! Recently I’ve been trying to buy more “green” cleaning products but a lot of them have essential oils which I recently learned can be harmful to cats, so I’m really glad to find a line that’s green and OK for my cat, yay!!!
February 10th, 2010 at 9:44 pm
Wow! What cat-owner wouldn’t want something like these products?!?

I would love to be able to give this to the assistant manager of the apartments I live in. She has four cats of her own, and a couple of cats of neighbors that visit, on very ofter ’cause he used to live there when he was a kitten. Frankly, her apartment pretty much smells like it, too. She could really use them.

I would love, love, love to win this prize. I have 6 cats, and they don’t all share well when it comes to the litter box, so I am cleaning messes daily. This would be perfect! Plus, I love that it’s “green.”

Unfortunately I really need odor removers. I’d love these green products.
February 11th, 2010 at 6:07 pm
The odor is encapsulated and then biodegrades ? Biodegradable, water soluble, and ozone safe ? Apparently, the only thing it doesn’t have is tuna flavor in a tube ! Last year, a stray snuck in the back door and marked the entry. After numerous scrubbings, my kids still tell me that it’s obvious to them…
We >^.^< thank you for the contest to give us the opportunity to try these.

I wonder how this works on urine stains and odor? I have three male cats, all fixed, but they still like to “claim” some things from time to time. I guess it depends if this cleans well enough to fool the cats.
