These incredible pieces of functional art are called Katzenhoehle, or cat caves. Each is handmade of felted wool by German artist Dornroeschen Filzunikate. There are several styles and sizes to choose from and the caves are apparently washable. They look so delicate, but very cozy, too.

I have created these beautiful catcaves and I am very happy having created them, many catlovers are enthusiastic about them and the cats, too.
I am an artist and this means notproducing every day the same. I felt hats, shawls, accessories, clothings, bags and other things, which are unique in style. Wow! I have never seen such a fantastical animal home. Our cat Misty is drooling over my shoulder while gazing at these.
So whimsical and such wonderful craftsmanship.

My only question is how do I get every single one of those cat beds to my house, now? Not to mention it doesn’t seem like the ship to the States, which is a total let down my kitty will be dissapointed.
