OOH! We HAVE been waiting for this, but we’re still going to have to wait a bit longer. Aren’t they GORGEOUS, though!

We talked a lot about getting this one but our furball wasn’t called Grace for a very good reason – as much as she’d love going up, she’d really need safety rails or some serious diving lessons for coming down…honestly it’s like she forgets she has back legs to support her body when she leaps off things…I think the cushy roll is way more suited to her!

Word of CAUTION about these! They are very cool, yes, but if you have any inclination for clean air these are a bad idea. When we received ours the noxious fumes from the stain or glue were so strong it felt like the inside of my nose was burning. There was no way I was letting my cats interact with something that seemed that toxic. I put the paddles out in our carport for about 5 weeks, checking them every few days, before the smell had dissipated enough to bring them inside. For a while even the carport reeked of fumes. When I wrote to Peter (the designer) about suggestions he never responded. So there’s my two cents, it’s quite ingenious but be prepared for the outgassing.

Am I the only one with cats who like to cuddle? It seems everything is flat, thin, with no soft material at all now-a-days. Maybe I just put my cats’ comfort and happiness above my own personal aesthetic preferences.

These would certainly brighten up a drab March day

Looks good and ridiculously overpriced, considering you have to buy the pole and the clamps from IKEA. You’re basically paying 60-90 dollars for 3 carpeted MDF platforms? Unless I got it wrong from the pricing PDF. Interesting idea with the pole though.
