Here’s a great new idea for moderncat lovers who really want to go green. Molly Meow is a new line of eco-conscious pet bedding that helps you reuse old items to create a new and super stylish bed for your cat.
First, start with the Molly Meow Stuff Sack. This large mesh bags allows you to create the bed lining from old clothes, towels, and blankets. Simply fill the bag with all those things that were going to be donated or tossed, then put the loaded Stuff Sack inside one of the Molly Meow Duvet Covers and you’ve got a beautiful new bed. Because the Stuff Sack is made of durable, washable mesh, when it’s time to clean the bedding, just remove the cover and throw the whole stuff sack into the wash. Easy!

The Duvet Covers are also completely washable and made of pre-shrunk 100% cotton. They come in two cute designer fabrics, Bird on a Wire and La Vie en Rose.

The Stuff Sacks come in round or square and sell for $10 US. The Duvet Covers are also available in round or square and sell for $20 US. You can also get a DIY kit that includes one Stuff Sack and two Duvet Covers for $50 US. Since you provide the stuffing, they are very affordable!

What an amazing idea, to use things from around the house to “stuff the sack”! We love that! And our cats will love having our old clothes to sleep on. They already sleep on them as it is (when given the chance). Brilliant.

How would two ginger cats look on the red ‘bird on a wire’? I guess we’d like to try – it looks comfy enough and we have plenty of stuffing ready

June 8th, 2010 at 7:21 am
These are great and super cute too! I love the idea of stuffing it with anything washable. My partner has allergies so it being washable is ideal! I won’t have to worry about ruining the stuffing.
June 8th, 2010 at 7:30 am
These are great. Stuffing them yourself it the best idea. This way the cat already has it smelling like things she knows and likes.
June 8th, 2010 at 7:32 am
They’re beautiful. It’s great to see some sophisticated designs for a change. Not every one has decor that begs paw prints & plaid.
