Here’s a great new idea for moderncat lovers who really want to go green. Molly Meow is a new line of eco-conscious pet bedding that helps you reuse old items to create a new and super stylish bed for your cat.
First, start with the Molly Meow Stuff Sack. This large mesh bags allows you to create the bed lining from old clothes, towels, and blankets. Simply fill the bag with all those things that were going to be donated or tossed, then put the loaded Stuff Sack inside one of the Molly Meow Duvet Covers and you’ve got a beautiful new bed. Because the Stuff Sack is made of durable, washable mesh, when it’s time to clean the bedding, just remove the cover and throw the whole stuff sack into the wash. Easy!

The Duvet Covers are also completely washable and made of pre-shrunk 100% cotton. They come in two cute designer fabrics, Bird on a Wire and La Vie en Rose.

The Stuff Sacks come in round or square and sell for $10 US. The Duvet Covers are also available in round or square and sell for $20 US. You can also get a DIY kit that includes one Stuff Sack and two Duvet Covers for $50 US. Since you provide the stuffing, they are very affordable!

Love, love, love this idea! I have a bag of old clothes that are shrunk or worn out so aren’t suitable for donation, and I haven’t been able to find fabric recycling resources in my area. I hated the idea of just sending them to landfill. This is a perfect way to reuse them! Somewhere to put all those odd socks, too.
June 10th, 2010 at 3:53 am
love it!
June 10th, 2010 at 5:35 am
This is so clever – and easy to keep clean, which is key with older cats.
June 10th, 2010 at 5:44 am

My cats already love sleeping on the piles of old clothes that invariably accumulate on my closet floor. What an ingenious way to to make them fashionable!
June 10th, 2010 at 2:15 pm
Maybe with this I can reclaim my pillow!
June 10th, 2010 at 2:27 pm

I really need this so my cat will sleep on something that doesn’t inevitably end up getting hair all over me!!!
June 11th, 2010 at 6:01 am
Now this is a really great idea and green also. You can fill it with used/recycled materials. A+
June 11th, 2010 at 6:14 am

June 11th, 2010 at 2:49 pm
That’s a pretty cool idea and both patterns are cute to boot!
June 12th, 2010 at 2:53 am
What a great idea… there is never enough stuffing inside the shop bought beds and it’ll stop them from sleeping on my bed if they have their own customed-stuffed bed!!
June 12th, 2010 at 7:26 am
Great idea! If you used some of your old clothes to stuff it, it would have your scent..I think my cat would like that.
June 12th, 2010 at 9:30 am
These are beautiful, modern cat beds which really could work with most people’s decor. Great concept and the price is affordable too.
I would love to win this!
