If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to help your older or arthritic kitty reach the bed or the sofa, check out these cardboard pet steps from Imperial Cat. Very affordable and easy to assemble, the Step ‘N Play Pet Steps also have a cutout in the side so kitty can go inside to hide or nap. Designed to support pets up to 25 lbs.
For just $14.50 at Amazon, that’s a great deal, plus the cardboard can be recycled when you don’t need them anymore.

What a great idea! Affordable, functional, environmentally friendly and fun to play with (what cat doesn’t like cardboard?).

These would be perfect for play as my cats love to race around on stairs and hiding in them too sound great fun!

A nice affordable alternative to the expensive model, very useful in these tough times, and helpful for all cats who aren’t high-jumpers!

looks like the price went up to $22.95. still affordable, but why?

Yes. Cute. I just use boxes. Or small plastic storage boxes that have stuff in them (like shoebox containers), stacked up. If I use cardboard boxes, they need replaced every so often once the cats finish their concept art projects (scratch them to bits).

A great idea for adding additional help for sore jointed kitties. I like the that you can recycle it! If your looking for pet steps that you can fold and store Solvit PupSTEP Plus Pet Stairs by Solvit
http://amzn.com/B000MD57OO is not too expensive either.

Cool! My blind kitty is good at climbing, not so good at getting down…

I think its great for the kitty boxes too. My litterbox is in a box to help contain the loose stuff. The steps are great to get into the box and out of the box!
