As the owner of a formal-feral and almost TNR kittie (her ear is clipped as I was introduced to her the day before she was released) I love this giveaway and this week’s focus! Thanks so much!

Thanks for making this weeks’s focus ferals. I wish more people would spay/neuter their pets. I am disheartend by the number of people who think its ok to just dump thier pets instead of working to find some kind of solution for thier situation.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:44 am
OMG I love the black t-shirt. This group is really awesome too.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:44 am

I love ferals and I’m glad this week will be all about ferals.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:45 am
I live with a formerly feral myself–she’s a marvelous girl.
I’m a feral kitten tamer–a demanding but rewarding enterprise! I’ve worked with Planned Feralhood in West Marin, CA, and Project Purr in Santa Cruz, CA.
Thanks for your TNR week!

I’ve heard of this organization, I really like what they do!
September 13th, 2010 at 9:45 am
I love my feral cats!!! More people need to see “Cat City”, they need know that even feral cats need love. Many were probably someone’s pet at one time. I’d wear my “Feral for Life” shirt proudly!! Keep up the good work!!

The TNR program made a significant difference in the number of feral cats in areas of Boston. It is a good solution to allow the cats to live — and reduce the population of homeless animals.
One little sweetie, who some call Pumpkin, has bad arthritis — and no one was sure she’d make it through another winter last year. Folks at an industrial property put an old sofa in an abandoned shed on the property for her and her friends. Even grown men care about these poor souls!

This is a terrific organization and one I’m proud to say I support. It’s so easy and common for even cat lovers to turn their backs on feral cats. Just because an animal may not be socialized enough to want to curl up in your lap doesn’t mean they don’t deserve the same love, care and compassion of our pets. The people who stand up for our ferals and fight for programs that protect them and put an end to the cycle of death and starvation should be held in the highest esteem. Thank you to Feral For Life and all their volunteers who selflessly give their time and effort to such a great cause.

TNR is an awesome program to highlight on this blog. While most (if not all) readers probably have spoiled kitties, we need to remember those that are on the opposite end of the spectrum and do what we can to help! These shirts are awesome and I would love to promote Feral for Life by wearing one!
September 13th, 2010 at 9:50 am
What an awesome giveaway! I have raised 6 feral cats — 3 are still with me, and the other 3 I adopted to good homes. Nice job, “Feral For Life”!!
September 13th, 2010 at 9:50 am
Love these tees!
September 13th, 2010 at 9:50 am
All my cats come from a feral mom cat. Feral cats deserve positive recognition!

We have quite a few similar organisations here in Sunny South Africa doing the most wonderful work on spaying/neutering and releasing ferals back into their colonies (also after tipping their one ear). I go through every single lunchtime with my container of cat food to feed ‘my’ furry feral friends. No matter how rough the morning has been at the office, the short interaction I have with them daily puts me in a far better frame of mind for the rest of the day before going home to my little rescued tabby, Lucyanydots.

I wish I could open my own cat sanctuary, and if I could help all of the ferals in the world, I would. I have eight “throwaways” myself, I chose none, they all chose me, and I would not have missed any of the love and joy bestowed on me by my incredible felines for the world. I would be honored to wear one of these T-shirts.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:52 am
Love it!
September 13th, 2010 at 9:53 am
I like that this approach is about encouraging education as a way to break the cycle.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:54 am
I don’t just brake for ferals but for all the animals i see running the streets.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:54 am
LOVE IT! In August of 2009 I took in two 12-week-old feral kittens (brothers). Intending to put them at my friend’s farm, my cat Oliver (already had him and Felix) took a liking to them, and they him, while I had them sequestered in my 3 season porch. A year later I have 4 healthy, happy, well-ajusted but neutered male cats. I am the cat lady. ; )

i would LOVE to win this wonderful stuff!!

If you live in Cleveland, Ohio, know that Lucky Paws Animal Rescue has a big TNR program.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:54 am
I love those T shirts! The design is great and they make a statement about the wearer
September 13th, 2010 at 9:55 am
My two former feral sweeties would love to have a nap on that t-shirt. Great giveaway to promote a great cause.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:55 am
Feral… until December. What? I get cold.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:56 am
The plight of homeless and feral cats is heartbreaking. I’m grateful for all the terrific organizations that help, and advocate adoption for strays and TNR for ferals.
I’d also LOVE to have this t-shirt!
September 13th, 2010 at 9:56 am
My mom and I have been caring for as many as 5 ferals at a time who come to live at our house…we just lost our oldest who came to us 8 years ago.
They went from gettin some dry kibble in the very back of our property to eating wet food twice a day on the porch, the kibble is kept in the garage now since they have access to come and go as they please from the garage and their many kitty beds.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:56 am
And oh my goodness… the story about sweet, sweet Honeybee on the Feral for Life website… heartwrenching.
It takes such a strong individual to work rescue and TNR.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:56 am
What a great program. I fully support it. I once had two black cats for over 10 years that came from the streets. They were as loveable as all the others i have had and the female was one of the smartest cats I have encountered and I have had more than 12 through my lifetime. Keep the good stuff coming.
September 13th, 2010 at 9:56 am
I laughed out loud when I saw the bumpersticker! I hope I can get the Dutch to brake for ferals as well, if I win!
Lovely design!
