Singer/songrwiter and avid catlady, Sarah Donner, was singing her song “Treeline” with her ukulele, when one of her foster kittens, Lady Peanut, left playtime to sit next to Sarah and listen intently. What better audience could you ask for!

So sleepy!
October 3rd, 2010 at 9:47 am
ADORABLE, and what a great song too!
October 3rd, 2010 at 9:50 am
awww heheh that’s so cute. I like it how when she stops singing and playing the little kitten looks around as if asking “Hey! why did ya stop?”
October 3rd, 2010 at 9:52 am
Oh MAN! That’s cute overload right there!! Those huge blue eyes struggling to stay open, she’s completely oblivious to the other kittens running around even. Classic!
October 3rd, 2010 at 10:00 am
Oh, what a sweet little girl! She almost dozed off to that lullaby. Thanks for sharing.
October 3rd, 2010 at 10:02 am
That is such an adorable kitten!! It’s a beautiful song and I love that the kitten left playtime to come over and listen
October 3rd, 2010 at 10:11 am
Awwwwwwwww! Lady Peanut is SO adorable! (
October 3rd, 2010 at 10:18 am
PRECIOUS!!
October 3rd, 2010 at 10:31 am
Oh, that’s adorable! I’d say Lady Peanut should be a keeper!
October 3rd, 2010 at 10:46 am
Awww…a music lover. Music does soothe the non-savage beast. How sweet! Like the song, too.
October 3rd, 2010 at 11:27 am
Very cute! I loved watching Lady Peanut’s foster siblings cavorting in the background, and just as the song ended, one of my cats stood up against my desk, chirped, and jumped up to see what was going on. The song is evidently addictive to cats.
October 3rd, 2010 at 11:30 am
OMG, that is the CUTEST thing I’ve EVER seen! They say music soothes the savage beast! Although cute little Lady Peanut couldn’t possibly be savage, she’s merely a “music lover,” and her foster mama is a wonderful singer/songwriter! Loved them BOTH!!! Thanks for the BIG SMILE!!
October 3rd, 2010 at 11:35 am
Uh oh. Foster kitty did you say? Looks like a keeper!
October 3rd, 2010 at 11:36 am
This is just adorable!
October 3rd, 2010 at 12:00 pm
omg, that’s the cutest thing I’ve seen all day! Poor little thing, needs a little lullaby to sing her to sleep
October 3rd, 2010 at 12:03 pm
OMG, that is so cute! love kitten and song!
October 3rd, 2010 at 1:09 pm
That is just too cute.
October 3rd, 2010 at 2:05 pm
What luck to capture this!
October 3rd, 2010 at 2:29 pm
What an expressive face Lady Peanut has! At the end she was thinking hey where did the music go???
October 3rd, 2010 at 2:41 pm
What a wonderful moment Sarah got on tape! I think there is something special about Lady Peanut!
October 3rd, 2010 at 6:21 pm
I think the kitten wants to be a permanent member of Sarah Donner family.
That song is great. Why hasn’t someone signed her yet?
October 3rd, 2010 at 7:32 pm
She is a cutie!
October 3rd, 2010 at 7:41 pm
God, she is sooooo cute!
October 3rd, 2010 at 8:29 pm
Cassia: “Foster kitty did you say? Looks like a keeper!” I agree!!
October 3rd, 2010 at 9:31 pm
What a cutie pie! Very cute that her siblings are playing in the background. Love the song too.
October 3rd, 2010 at 9:33 pm
Lady Peanut has found a home thanks to the wonderful internet.

October 4th, 2010 at 1:48 am
Is Lady Peanut up for adoption?
October 4th, 2010 at 3:57 am
Sarah’s got a true fan there!!
October 4th, 2010 at 6:24 am
What a great kitty lullabye! I kept waiting for Lady Peanut to fall over asleep!!! She’s adorable. Wish I could adopt her.
October 4th, 2010 at 6:32 am
Thanks for sharing this video. I also agree that this one would move from foster kitty to keeper kitty quite quickly. After all, who would adopt out their biggest fan? Lady Peanut for fan club president!
October 4th, 2010 at 10:49 am
Just posted this vid to my FB page in hopes of helping Ms. Donner along a little. You never know when a sweet video like this will go “viral” and boost a well-deserving talent like hers into a spotlight. Best of luck and thanks for sharing that adorable kitten and your lovely song.
October 4th, 2010 at 3:22 pm
The quote is actually “Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast”- not beast. I wish it did soothe the savage beast because I’d walk around with a boom box in the zoo.
October 4th, 2010 at 4:05 pm
What song are you singing with this video and where can I get a copy?
October 5th, 2010 at 5:30 am
Thanks everybody for sharing and reposting! Lady Peanut went from 120 views to over 8,000 in just a couple days and that was just on YouTube. Please keep sharing and enjoying Ms. Peanut. I will have the song ‘Treeline’ up for downloading shortly. I wasn’t prepared for its popularity!
October 5th, 2010 at 10:11 am
so adorable!!
October 5th, 2010 at 11:21 am
What a super cute sleepy kitty. The song is quite lovely too.
October 5th, 2010 at 9:01 pm
Just how sweet is this! The adorable kitten is smitten by the music and wonders what happened when it stopped…….beautiful young baby blue eyes, not changed colour yet. You can see the kitten is purring happily. Adorable. First cat of my very own used to sit at the end of my piano while I was practicing. She was wonderful too.
October 6th, 2010 at 10:16 pm
That kitten is so cute and quite musical. She is so into
the music, and it relaxes her into a heavenly sleepy gaze.
Thanks for sharing. Next time my one cat gets up on the computer
desk to watch my screen, I will play this for him. I’ll let you
know the results.
October 10th, 2010 at 12:03 pm
