What a great idea and what a wonderful piece of “feline furniture”. I wish I had room for one of these for my trio.

Wow, this looks phenomenal! Awesome for kitties and it doesn’t look like something that should be better placed in a garage not a living room.
The discount it’s the cherry on the cake…

That’s a cute bookshelf.
We got a nice IKEA shelf, Expedit, which has 4 x 4 rows of squares, around 12″ each. The kitties adopted half of the individual cubes in it – an awesome playground for them, and a perfect spot for spying what their humans do.

I like this idea, especially for those who have enough space to accomodate a big piece of furniture like this just for their cat! I would suggest though that they add a detachable platic door over the litter box hole just because it could stink up and while the furniture is nice the smell probably isnt. Not to mentiona piece like this would be displayed, not hidden away, so concealing odors is pretty important.

Fun and beautiful — looks a lot like some of the cat houses my ex and I made, one of which had a cat-shaped window made with a jigsaw and a plexiglas insert!

I would not use the box area for a litter pan. Most kitties do not like confined spaces for their litter, but they do like cubbies like this for sleeping. I would put a dog bed in there for them to sleep on.

I actually own one of these. I got it last year. It’s quite heavy but very sturdy and the cats absolutely LOVE it. They hopped on it right away and use it daily…mainly for sleeping but I put their litter box in the compartment on the bottom and I hide the scooper and litter bucket from the store in the cupboards on the right.
It’s easy to keep clean, the padding is so soft, the toys are fun for them and they just love being able to climb on the furniture. It is, by far, the best piece of cat furniture I have ever purchased. I highly, highly recommend this to your readers.
Thanks

To answer some of the concerns:
Having the litter box in the enclosed area does not stink up the furniture. I scoop the box once a day and sweep it out if the kittehs threw some litter around.
Also, I have 7 cats and not a single one of them has a problem with it being enclosed but no, you don’t have to put a litter box there, use it for whatever you want.
Once a week I wipe it with a Clorox wipe just for sanitary reasons but no, no smell. I have it in my living room and you cannot smell the litter. Proof in the pudding? I had a guest come over who had never been over before and they commented that you could not tell I had cats. (Meaning, they couldn’t smell anything.)
As for size, it’s actually not as big as you might think. It’s about the size of a loveseat in width and the highest shelf I clear by about a foot and a couple of inches, (I’m 5’4″).
It was kind of expensive but again, it was so worth it.

I’d be interested if this came in espresso rather than walnut. Espresso stains are uber modern.

I found this very attractive, a beautiful artifact furniture concept. I am waiting for my spouse to see this and approve for our home.
