We have a very exciting giveaway this month! It’s Square Cat Habitat’s brand new product, the new Acacia cat tree, a smaller version of the Baobab. Both are beautiful sculptural forms that look amazing in a modern home. The original Baobab is five feet tall and the Acacia is three feet tall. It’s the perfect size for any space and the cats absolutely love it.

The Acacia has three platforms, two “branches” for climbing and one large “treetop” for lounging. The platforms have recessed carpet inserts to prevent kitty from slipping. You can choose from a huge variety of colors and textures to match your decor perfectly and the inserts are easy to clean and replace if necessary. The Acacia and Baobab are both available in three different finishes: black or white low-pressure laminate over Arreis sustainable design fiberboard, or Plyboo architectural plywood made from 100% renewable bamboo.

EXTRA CHANCE TO WIN!
The November giveaway winner will receive an Acacia cat tree in either black or white laminate with their choice of carpet inserts. To enter the monthly giveaway, make sure you’re signed-up to receive Moderncat updates via email. If you’re already getting the updates but you’d like an EXTRA chance to win this month, please leave a comment on this post. Complete details on the monthly giveaway here. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing on November 30. This giveaway includes free shipping to addresses in the US. International readers are welcome to enter if you are willing to pay the extra shipping charges.

Square Cat Habitat’s Acacia Cat Tree is too cool! We just downsized from a big exurban home, and moved into a studio loft in San Francisco. Our 2 cats are going a little stir crazy with their new limited space. We are taking advantage of the vertical space, and have installed cat ramps to a “way up” space above a walk-in closet with 2 bright windows just for the boys. The space is large, but is just 4 1/2 feet high – purrfect for the quadpods and purrfect for an Acacia Cat Tree!

That would be great for my two girls when they are by a window.

I just LOVE this addition to Square Cat Habitat’s line of mod kitty products. I’ve been jones’ing for a Baobab for quite a while… but a slightly smaller (& less expensive!) version may be just the ticket. Or if I WIN an Acacia, I could buy a Buddha & an Itch!! A girl can dream… right?
