I own this bench! I got mine through another retailer (MyCatsHeaven), though. Mine serves as a covered litter box, food and toy storage (the cabinets are a little too small for a litter bucket), and human seating. It’s a Sauder piece, and it assembled easily and is quite sturdy. I swapped the plain pewter knobs for crystal pulls, and I’m getting a new cushion made with a fun patterned fabric – the cushion that came with it was pretty flat, which works fine for kitties, but not so well for humans. Overall, I find it to be pretty and very functional.

This is pretty cool, kind of reminds you of the changing tables for human babies. My fuzzy babies would be “sitting pretty” indeed!!

R. Hunter’s info is helpful, and this is a gorgeous piece that I’m sure would please humans AND their feline loved ones. Pricey for us, but for those who can do it, it would probably be a welcome addition. I’d like to see it in natural wood finishes, with, floofier cushions in ModernCat retro patterns!

I have this! I love it. It’s at the end of my full-sized bed and fits perfectly.. It holds my cat’s litter box and other various cat supplies (litter, scoop, newspapers, trash bags, the catnip…) I also use it to put all my folded clothes I haven’t gotten around to putting away. As with the first comment, I find it to be pretty and definitely functional.

It’s nice, but I would put a bed in the enclosed area. I don’t think my cat would enjoy sleeping over her litter box, no matter how cramped the space is in my house.

I agree with Margaret(Comment #3). When I saw this bench, I was reminded of the changing table I bought for my son. What a wonderful idea-to repurpose the look for our furry friends.

I’m considering one of these but am concerned it only holds a small litter pan. My boys are messy in the box and fling sand everywhere and kind of tinkle on the wall of their enclosed litter box. All of these cool litter box concealments seem to only hold small litter containers?
