Beds & Loungers, Giveaways

We’re going to kick-off our Holiday Give-a-thon with one of the coolest cat inventions ever — the SnoozePalâ„¢ from Cat Above! This inventive cat hammock-in-a-box is a sure crowd pleaser for kitties looking to hangout in comfort. The sturdy cardboard box creates a cozy enclosed area with lookout windows on three sides. The fleece-lined hammock molds to kitty’s shape for extreme comfort, plus it’s removable and washable.

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment on this post telling us the name of the charity where you will donate the second SnoozePal if you win. Please leave a link to the charity’s website if possible. The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve along with all the other give-a-thon winners. The winner will get to choose the fabric for the hammock.

Thanks, Cat Above!

Their second-hand store has as many as 12 cats wandering around at any one time, cats that are rehabilitating. It makes shopping quite an experience!

I’d be thrilled to donate it to Arizona RESCUE, a group I’ve worked with/volunteered for for eight years now! I truly believe in their mission, and am proud of how many wonderful animals we’ve been able to place in forever homes!

First, I would love to see which one of my 14 cats would be the first to “test” the SnoozePal out. I think they would each be standing in line to check it out and see what it’s all about. The charity I would give the second one to is Pet Helpers, a No Kill Shelter in Charleston, SC. It was founded in 1978 and has really grown into a modern, state of the art facilty for kittens, cats, dogs and puppies.I have been a Volunteer for 4 1/2 years and love what I do to help all of the furbabies there!

I would give the second one to C.A.R.E. (Community Animal Rescue and Education) in Cambridge MA. C.A.R.E is dedicated to the needs of abandoned, injured, and orphaned animals. A great organization!

Fleece is the puuurrrrrrrfect fabric-cats & dogs love it- Mr. Luigi (Black Maine Coon) makes them for the organization he was a rescue from:Tri-Valley Animal Rescue & they’re a big hit. I think is great the way it’s put in the box-very kitty like. Tri-Valley Animal Rescue would be thrilled to receive one.

The Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, Oregon, not only provides medical care for stray cats people bring in, it takes in the cats other local shelters can’t accommodate for medical reasons. I recently placed an abandoned cat with them and he was adopted in one day!! They would love one of these cozy things for a lucky cat in their shelter.

I’d love to see one of these go to Red Door Animal Shelter, who takes in not only cats, but dogs and bunnies too!

I would love to donate one to El Cajon’s “Friends of Cats”

From its initial founding as the Animal Rescue League, through its many years as the Maude Erwin Foundation in several locations around San Diego County, and as a non-profit organization under its current name since 1968, Friends of Cats’ no-kill philosophy has given thousands of cats the opportunity to receive the care and shelter they need and find the loving homes they deserve.

  32. 832
    Claire

I would love to donate one of these to The Cattery Cat Shelter- a no kill, cage free shelter (thecatterycc.org). I personally know that the hammock style cat towers are very popular at the shelter and an extra hammock would be much appreciated by the kitties.

  33. 833
    Cindy

My cats love to get into any box they can find so I can see both of them getting into this at once. One on the hammock and one underneath the hammock. I would love Forever Home Feline Ranch to receive the other one. This is a facility that is new and is providing homes to cats in need. The adoptable ones will be put up for adoption and if they are deemed non adoptable they will live out their lives there at the ranch. I know they would appreciate it. http://www.felineranch.org/

I still think this is the most wonderful sort of giveaway ever!

I would give mine to Delaware Humane Association. http://www.dehumane.org/.

I bet the kitties at the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) would love this! PAWS (www.phillypaws.org) has a sweet downtown adoption center where free-roaming cats peer out the windows, enticing passers-by to come in and scratch an ear or two. I could totally see some PAWS kitties lounging in one of these hammocks while they wait for their forever homes.

If I won this, I would donate the second prize to Cat House on the Kings, which is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center. Their mission is to place rescued cats and kittens into loving, permanent homes; to provide a safe, happy and healthy home for unwanted cats and kittens in a unique, no-cage facility; to prevent pet overpopulation through spaying and neutering; and to educate the public about responsible pet ownership. Check out the link for photos of adoptable cats and videos of the facility. I’m thinking of sending my kitties here for a spa week – it’s great! Good luck everyone!

My family adopted several cats from PURR-fect Solutions Feline Rescue (http://www.purrfectsolutions.com) in Southern California and now I am a volunteer there. The kitties would love this!

My four kitties would love hanging out in this hammock. I would donate the second one to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, MD http://awlmc.org/. The cats there deserve more and could use more comfort. They always give love to us, so why not give — a cat hammock — to them!??!

  41. 841
    Brooke Jacobs

These would be perfect for the group I volunteer with, the New York City Feral Cat Initiative. http://www.nycferalcat.org
The cats in cages LOVE hammocks!

    This hammock looks fantastic.
I volunteer at SAVE Animal Shelter in Princeton, NJ. We have a tortie named Abby at the shelter whose favorite bed was a cute little hammock. It broke a couple weeks ago, and she seems to be looking all over for it. My hammock would definitely go to Abby at SAVE. She would be very happy in the SnoozePal….it would make her day.

  43. 843
    Sarry

Our little Nya would LOVE LOVE LOVE this! And we would LOVE LOVE LOVE to give the second as a holiday gift to the kitties at “Half Way Home Rescue”… the same angles who took Nya in off the street till we adopted her. “Half Way Home Rescue” take in ALL animals big and small… and if they do not get adopted out, they have a home at the shelter FOREVER !

In addition to my 3 adopted kitties, I foster Max, an older diabetic tabby boy for the New Milford, CT animal shelter. A SnoozePal would be great for Max and one for all the shelter kitties still waiting for the purrfect home, too.

So cute! I would want the other one to go to the Calgary Humane Society. Both of my furballs are from there! calgaryhumane.ca/

A hammock. A box. Two of my cat’s favorite things finally brought together in a single new product. He’s GOTTA have one.

If I won this I would donate it to my local Animal Control. Our city does not deal with the cat population problems, they only take in dogs. But the good people down at Animal Control went against the rules and let a cat come to live with them and I am sure he would love this.
