In addition to the Holiday Give-a-thon, we still have our regular monthly giveaway, too! This month we’re introducing a brand new product from the folks who make the KatKabin. It’s the SkratchKabin! The SkratchKabin has the same dimensions and design as the original KatKabin, but the SkratchKabin is covered in durable carpet to give kitty a nice big curved surface for scratching, plus a cozy nest inside for napping. The SkratchKabin comes with a little toy hanger and a sisal rope mouse for extra fun.
There’s also a removable pad with a washable cover inside. The SkratchKabin is very sturdy and measures 20″ long by 16″ wide and 13″ tall. The door opening is 6.5″ x 7″. The SkratchKabin is available in three carpet colors, oatmeal, blueberry, and cocoa.
The folks at Brinsea sent us a SkratchKabin to test and — just as I expected — it was an immediate hit, especially with the cold weather upon us. It’s the perfect size and shape for kitties to curl-up for a winter nap and the curved, carpeted surface is immediately attractive to little scratchers. Plus the whole thing looks great. It’s just “kitty” enough without being too cutesy.

This is one of the coolest cat products I have seen! My Charlie & Clemy would not get enough of it!My little bit older girl Clem would love to sleep iside on the comfy bed & my crazy 9month old Charlie would go nuts with the toy & scratching pad!! I would also pick The Pet Connection in Mission Kansas (www.thepetconnection.net) to win the second one. Beautiful isn’t a word I would use to describe any other cat scratcher, but this is beautiful, a work of art and functional, all too rare. The designers clearly know their cats and have good eyes. Feline Friends would make their kitties in their no-kill shelter feel very much in the lap of luxury if they received one of these…

This is by far the chicest cat bed i’ve seen thus far. After raising 4 abandoned baby kittens that were going to be euthanized, I think this would be an adorable solution for them to have a place to sleep!

I have a small animal rescue (23 critters at the moment) and the cats that like to spend most of the time outdoors would love this to sleep in at night. I keep heat lamps on my front porch for them in the winter. What a great idea.
