Here’s a fun little project I’ve been working on! Announcing the 2011 Moderncat Calendar! With fabulous photography by Nicolle Clemetson and the cutest cats and kittens from All About Animals rescue, we created 12 months of luxurious Moderncat style to take you through the year. The calendar is available from Lulu.com for $19.99 and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to All About Animals to help find these beautiful kitties loving forever homes.
You’ll see several favorite Moderncat products in the calendar, including a few brand new items from Moderncat Studio that are going to be available very soon. Stay tuned for more info. We had so much fun during the four hour photo shoot to make this calendar. I had to share some of the behind the scenes photos with you:

Goreous photos – and I love that white ball chair where the black kitty is in the pictures. What chair is that and where can I get one? I’ve always wanted myself a nice 1960s plastic ball chair but the originals are still quite expensive, so perhaps I could get one for my cats first instead.

It amazes me that it only took four hours to shoot this calendar. Cats can be uh, quite uncooperative subjects most of the time when trying to take their picture. I’m going to order two, a gift then one for myself!

Can I ask where they got the background wallpaper? It makes for great photos. I take pictures of cats for a rescue group I volunteer for and that background would work great for my photos. What kind of camera did she use also. Would love to get this information.
