No, not hakuna matata, it’s a Cuna and Patada from Moderncat Studio! That’s today’s prize in the Moderncat Holiday Give-a-thon! Moderncat Studio designer Gerda Lobo has graciously donated two sets of her wonderful crocheted cotton cat beds and kicker toys. The winner will get a set and the second set will go to the winner’s charity of choice.
To enter, please leave a comment on this post with the name of the charity where you would donate the second prize. The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve along with all the other give-a-thon winners.

I have crocheted and knit since I was a little girl, and I LOVE the look of oversized scale crochet on this cat bed. It is one way to make crochet very modern. I can imagine the soft cotton batting makes a wonderful bed. If my darling kitty doesn’t win this then I might have to make a trip to the fabric store and whip one up myself!
As before I would donate to the no-kill Feline Rescue:

If I’m lucky enough to win this jewel, I would request the other be sent to Hobe Sound Animal Protection League in Hobe Sound, Florida. They run a wonderful sanctuary for several hundred cats, many of whom are FeLV positive. What a great place! Their website is:
